The Forum was pretty full and first I had the impression, that not a lot of the people there were really big PJ fans. But when the show started everything turned out great. There was a big harmony between the band and the audience, and the most part of the people knew the lyrics of the songs. Even Eddie I think was really surprised about the audience: At one point he asked: How are you doing? Of course everybody was screaming and so. Then he said: Now ask me the same! We did it and he answered: Well, I'm feeling great, too. (or something like that). And at the end he said that this was a very special show he sure will remember for a long time. Like I said before a big feeling between the band and the audience. Not even one Eddie, Eddie chant !!!!!
Everybody was waiting for the Fastbacks when Eddie came out with a guitar and he said: I'm doing one or two songs for you. Then he played "The kids are alright" all alone. After that he asked for a warm welcome for the Fastbacks and went off again.
I listened to the first couple of songs of the Fastbacks, but then i went to have a drink, because I don't really like them. I didn't even understand when one song finished and the next began. The guitarist was behaving like a comlete idiot !
After a 10 minute break PJ came and this is the setlist:
Long road Go Last exit Hail, Hail Red mosquito Who you are Off he goes Corduroy Better man Habit (Speaking as meeeee ) Even flow Daughter Jeremy Sometimes Rearviewmirror Present tense Alive *** Encore *** Once State of love & trust Nothingman (!!!) Smile (!!!) Porch (!!!) Yellow ledbetter The biggest surprise for me was Jack. He made an excellent show. I was always a little bit sceptic about him but after tonight ...
Once again, an incredible show (at least for me) and see you in Prague tomorrow!
