Pearl Jam Album Near Completion

We understand that the recording of basic tracks for the next Pearl Jam album were completed this past weekend in Seattle. Producer Brendan O'Brien was scheduled to leave Seattle yesterday (Sunday, April 21) and return to his homebase in Atlanta where he's expected to mix the album. But first O'Brien is heading right into the studio to produce Michael Penn of "No Myth" fame. Penn was recently signed to O'Brien's brand new Atlanta-based 57 Records.
